N900 is geared more to techies, N8 is prolly easier to use and has the 12mp camera, N900s camera is only 5mp, most people prolly want the N8.

This phone is cool, but to bad that is does not have a 1Ghz processor.

@nicecake777 N8 has better hardware, but N900 has qwerty keyboard, N8 is running on Symbian and N900 on Linux Maemo 5 – so it’s hard to compare them.

@crazy6omen Don’t be a gadget freak. Remember, this is just a phone, not your do everything in one thingamajig.
Go get the iPhone if you fancy it. In my opinion it’s not a good phone, but an all-rounded gadget.
Nokia offers best quality phones.
Dont judge N8 from this video! Look at some of the most recent videos of N8, you’ll see no lag! Its really smooth, they have added transitions too. And not to mention, Camera, Browser, navigation and other things have been improved performance-wise and the N8 is still getting updates, so its improving every week with al the major updates its getting. So by the time its released, most of your complaints will be gone!!
@nicecake777 for me so far the nokia n900 is still the best, why ? because it is a freaking mobile computer, i would like more attention from the audience, but i wont mind changing to nokia n8 because of the support. both of them are amazing high end devices.

Nokia has been making normal phones. Nothing else. Yeah, there was N97, but it was slow, slow, slow!
Just like Motorola, which has been promoting their shitty RAZR phones. Jeez, no one liked it.
However, it is too late. Android is going to be the king of smartphones. Just like Nokia did with Symbian.

And apps? when was the last time you saw a site highlighting a Symbian app? Oh wait… never. And Nokia has WORST support in the biz!

The camera attracts me to this phone, the rest of the features seem a nice bonus too. Don’t judge a camera by the amount of megapixels, if it’s a crap lense then increased MPixel is pointless, I’m under the impression the lense and other optics side of the N8 actually utilises the full 12MPixel. I was tempted with the Galaxy S but it’s camera doesn’t warrant me upgrading from my N95..
Can you upgrade the OS to Symbian^4 in future?
