Research in Motion is highlighting the native and Android apps available on its struggling PlayBook at the Consumer Electronics Show as it prepares to launch the first major overhaul of the tablet’s software next month.
The company is demonstrating PlayBook OS 2.0 in its booth, showing off the Android apps that will finally be available to users of the tablet. RIM said in March last year that it would release a player that would let users of the tablets run apps designed for Android, and that capability will finally be available with PlayBook OS 2.0.

Google has launched handsets that run Android in its vanilla form. the first handset to bear the ‘Nexus’ name was the Nexus one. this smartphone was manufactured by HTC. the second was the Nexus S. Samsung was contracted to create this handset. Now, the Korean tech giant was chosen yet again to create the next Android flagship. this is the Galaxy Nexus. currently, this is the best smartphone Android has to offer.
Like all Android flagships, this new handset has the latest iteration of Google’s mobile operating system pre-installed. this is Ice Cream Sandwich (Android version 4.0).
